HD Porn is simply porn that meets a few criteria:

  1. It must be at least 1280 X 720 pixels in resolution.  If it isn’t, then it might be called HD porn, but it most definitely isn’t.
  2. 16 X 9 widescreen play back, just like widescreen DVDs you buy in the store.
  3. 3000+ bit rate.  This means that the movie has a very high number of kilobits of data being played per second.  Most sites that claim to have HD porn do have a higher bitrate, but not the resolution required.

If the movie can meet all of these, then it can be called high definition.  This blog will list only movies and sites that meet the requirements for HD porn.
